The Friends Reunion show finally aired, and fans across the globe were able to get their long-awaited fix! In spite of some initial hesitations over the celebrities who were making appearances on the show, it was a huge success and truly satiated the appetites of fans that have been craving the return of their favorite characters. That is, until a huge epic fail rose to the surface.

Fans aren't sure if they will ever be able to look at the reunion show the same again, after someone pointed out that Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry sat in the wrong chairs.

True fans of the show know that Joey and Chandler had particular spots to sit, and they reversed that order in the reunion show, causing huge upset and unsettling the balance in a big way.

The Chair Disaster

Friends is hailed as being one of the most successful sitcoms of all-time. It's a truly iconic show that perfectly cast its characters, and after years of obsessive syndication viewing, and mad love for the program, fans definitely know the intricate details of every episode.

There were a number of consistent elements that fans always relied upon, and they weren't about to miss this huge change in the reunion show.

Chandler and Joey were always in awe of their reclining La-Z-Boy chairs - nobody can forget Rosita! When viewing on television, Joey was always to Chandler's right. For the cameras, when facing the boys, it meant fans saw Joey on the left and Chandler on the right side at all times. This was the ritualistic placement for every single show, every single time... until now.

Fans aren't happy with the change.

Fans Upset With The Chair Placement

Fans are irked by the new chair placement and are disappointed that this element of the reunion show wasn't handled properly.

Immediately after the airing of the show, comments about this surfaced, with fans writing in to say; "it annoyed me that joey and chandler (Matthew and matt) sat on the wrong side in the chairs," as well as; "immediate total annoyance," and "You would think Joey would bring the essence of the chair back and position it at the correct coordinates. Nope."

It's unclear at this point if this was a bizarre mix-up, or if the network was trying to mess with fans to see if they'd notice the discrepancy, but either way, this was a very unwelcome change.
