Boyz N The Hood (1991)
John Singleton directed the tragic-yet-realistic flick in which Cube made his on-screen debut. Not much of a stretch, here—Cube plays a South Central gangsta—but it’s nonetheless a hood cinema classic that makes us want to bring back our Jheri curls every time we watch.
